August vanished in a puff of smoke. The beginning of the month was consumed by the DOOM + MADNESS Kickstarter, and let no one tell you otherwise about how these things devour all your brain cycles. After which, the family shoved themselves and a handful of suitcases into a plane and flew all the way to the other side of this continent. We deposited one of the kids at Camp Brutalism, where they shall learn muchly, and then the rest of us wandered home again.
Whereupon I realized I only had a week or so to get my shit together and finish that one-page RPG for the One-Page RPG Jam on itch. Scramble, scramble, scramble.
To my credit, I actually beat the deadline. Usually, I’m six hours late.
You can find Jam Badger here, if you’d like to do some jam scrambling.
And with that out of the way, it’s time to start coloring in circles on the Kickstarter project map.
The rest of the year is going to go as quickly, I fear. I did manage to make some notes in a System Design Doc for Scroungers last night. Not that I should be working on that project, but the brain will do what it wants.
